i'm on Depo-Testosterone (200mg testosterone cypionate) injections, 1/2 cc a week for an undetermined time (i go in for a first check up in 2 weeks)
as my doctor after 4 bloodwork tests done back to back (weekly) diagnosed me w/ low Free-T.
the first time i was chickening out as i can handle insulin needles, but for first timer the 1.5inch 22g needles were intimidating. i get over the initial pricing pain by stretching the skin back w/ one hand and injecting w/ the other.
now last week i had no complications. this week my leg at the injection site's (upper middle thigh) really sore (2 days after.) only difference i went in at the middle thigh than in the ass. (easier for to see when i aspirate if im getting blood or not.) and this being day 2 after the injection as it was bea-uti-fucking-full outside here, on a vigorous bike ride. i think i over did it.
but is this normal for the fist few times when injecting in the upper thigh? i know if it swells and starts to get really red, then goto my doctor asap.
and , any advice to minimize the pain?
