I am a huge sweet addict. Its pretty much the bane of my existince. Does anyone out there have any tricks to cut that shit out of my diet?

find something lower calorie to replace it. or healthy to replace it.

i personally like greek yogurt with sugar free jam blended in. sweet and protein filled. or just work on self control an moderation... though i have none of it. so i substitute.

I used to have a sweet tooth. I started on a nutrition plan with 3J and have zero desire to ingest anything that doesn't fuel growth or get me closer to my goals. Plus, I am eating all the time and look forward to those times during the day when I don't have to eat!

What are your nutrition goals?

Ya try the better protein bars from ntbm. They taste bomb and are better then eating.a hershey bar. Feel me. You can just stop you got to pace yourself down

bahhahahaa.. all smiles.. lol

glad your enjoying it.. that's the type of attitude i like to hear!!!

as for the op.. dont remove sweets.. be smart about it..

with clients that dont have as strong a will i tell them to have a teaspoon of honey twice a day... and add 2 pieces of fruit to their diet

that usually cuts the sweet tooth

Im not going to lie...im a sucker for cake. Red velvet, ice cream cake, or any kind of cake. I went two years without it and now im making up for lost time

DIRK-I have the same problem. The most simplest solution is just not to have the shit in the house...or if someone else is buying them have them hide the sweets.

I buy adkins snacks, chocolate covered nuts, rice cakes (comes in lots of different flavors), smoothies, put sweet and low on plain rice, I buy no carb ice cream sometimes....When I do cheat I make sure that I do it all in one day....A few weeks ago for the first time in about 1 1/2 months cheated with sweets and ate a whole bag of reeses, had ice cream, pizza, sweet tarts, etc. It seems if I cheat I want to do it all in one day rather than having multiple cheat days.. I really see no ill effects with my own body doing it this way. G' luck
