Ai with trt peak vs trough

A member over at }%%^^posted something very interesting. He had his levels drawn at peak and trough his estradiol was 14 the day after injection and 24 at trough. His testosterone was 1056 at peak and 873 at trough. He takes 60 mg and .125 mg anastrozole together every 3.5 days. Raises some eyebrows as to whether or not if you take you ai around ur shot time that ur estradiol might actually be lower at ur peak of your testosterone then the trough? If this is the case many on an ai would think if doing all their blood tests at trough that their estradiol levels might be a bit higher at the peak of their testosterone shot but actually it might be highest when their testosterone is at it's lowest. So maybe those taking ai should test estradiol and testosterone on separate days to make sure they aren't going to low on estradiol at any point. This guy used the sensitive estradiol test to incase anyone was wondering. He also ran a free estradiol test which also showed lower estradiol at the peak of his testosterone shot. Just found this very very interesting cause I think many of us assume testing at trough that both our estradiol and testosterone are at there lowest when actually with taking an ai with ur shot your estradiol might actually be at its lowest when ur testosterone is peaking...

Not entirely surprising since the half life of Anastrozole is only about 48 hours. This is part of the reason that many recommend taking the AI 24 hours or so after the testosterone injection - theoretically you get a better overlap of the peaks.

That said, this is a single data point and even the sensitive test has a margin of error which can skew results at these low levels.
