American pure whey 100% whey protein matrix review

I sent you a pm for my free sample and it came it just 2 days. I got chocolate and cake batter. They mixed very easily and tasted awesome...real smooooooth. I mixed it with 1% milk and even in milk it shook up in seconds. You guys gotta try this guys product man! Very good product APW.

I ordered the chocolate and asked for a sample of the cake batter. Ordered on a Wednesday and recieved it on Friday. Big thanks to John for not running my credit card so that i could reorder using the discount code.
Tried the Cake Batter this morning after training, seeing how carbs are NOT my friends I mix with water only...and I used ice water just to see how well it mixed, seems ice water causes protein powereds to lump....but not in this case! It disolved without lump one and tasted pretty good. I haven't tried my chocolate mix yet but will do so in another hour. Normally I only drink one protien drink per day but I'm really counting calories, watching every carb and the fact I forgot to pack my fourth meal today I'll be drinking another protein drink in about an hour. I'll let you guys know how it did here shortly.

Recieved 2 days after pm sent. I first tried the Isolate choc, mixed with some milk and ice and tasted just like a milk shake. Then next day tried the strawberry matrix, not a fan of strawberry but this tasted pretty good. I always use a blender so not sure how it mixed without one. Very good product APW!

had the cake batter flavor, mixed with 10oz 1% milk and ice.
Mixability: everything mixes well in my magic bullet blender, however there were no clumps. A shaker cup would have been a better test of mixability.
Texture: had a slightly thickened texture, more so than the current Isolate i use. This makes it resemble a milkshake more, i like that.
Taste: The cake batter tastes very similar to french vanilla, but milder. Or maybe a vanilla frosting... Tastes very good and would be easier to add other things like fruit to this flavor as usually a french vanilla tends to overpower the flavor of the shake.
Overall, the cake batter was good and I would recommend it. It mixes well, has a milkshake-like texture and most importantly, tastes good.

I've tried quite a few whey protein brands and let me tell you: THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME. In fact, most of them suck.
Accordingly, I honestly didn't set my expectation too high for Americanpure whey. Well, I was very surprised. The mixability was just as good or better than anything I've used. The hassle of crap mixability isn't worth it, so this is critical for me.
No issues with texture. Simple as that.
Taste: I was a little bit worried about the cake batter flavor because we often hear about unique flavors that sound good and then make us want to gag. But I enjoyed it and wanted more.
Now even with the whey protein isolates I often have gastrointestinal bloating. But I had no issues from the Allamerican whey protein isolate.
