I agree with what was said above. I ran one var only cycle and kept all my strength gains until I did my second cycle twenty years later. But I have kept most of my gains from every cycle I've done.
you wont keep all the hardness or strength. a lot of the strength is from enhanced nerve innervation and the hardness comes from subcutenous and intracellur water volume changes.
you should keep much of the strenght that gain as a result of hard work. ditto for condition.
