Anavar to help heal injuries?

Hello everyone,
I'm a newbie with absolutely no experience with AAS. I started running a few months back and have been bombarded with injuries that keep setting me back, shin splints , hip bursitis and now I'm afraid I am suffering from a Sports hernia (also known as Gilmour's Groin and has nothing to do with a regular hernia). My husband recently started a cycle of deca and test to see if he could get any relief from the back pain he has been suffering from for years. After seeing numerous doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, etc. nothing was helping. So after numerous hours of research he decided to try the steroids and he doesn't regret it. After only a week and a half his back pain completely disappeared. He suggested I research Anavar to see if anyone else has had injuries heal while on a cycle. Any info would be greatly apoeciated.:newbie:

im sorry to say your husbands back pain is in his head if the pain went away in under 5 to 6 weeks, Deca simply does not work that fast

can anavar help heal, yes if they are skeletal muscles or connective tissue injuries it may indeed be an assistance

Believe me, my husband's back pain was real. Because of his work which is extremely physical in nature his back muscles couldn't recuperate fast enough. I don't know if it's the deca or test but something kicked in. He is aware that deca doesn't work instantaniously,

Deca would be the only thing that helps with joint pains... but like Brhees states, takes a while to feel/see results

So we should distinguish between muscular soreness / stiffness due to overuse and back pain commonly associated with disc injuries. yes AAS will accelerate recovery, so if his muscles are worked hard the testosterone will heal it faster

when we speak of chronic or persistent back pain it typical that we are talking about Disc herniations, bulging disk and nerve pain.

I agree, he is waiting for bloodwork to come back. The docs are looking at possible inflammatory diseases in the rheumatoid family, but we both think his problem is muscular and not herniations. Had xrays and everything looks good in that department.

he may need MRI to see soft tissue injuries like disk damage. its good he is working with a Dr to investigate. keep on then and dont settle for take these anti inflammatories and call me in 8 weeks. pain sucks

good luck and health

A sports hernia occurs with the weakening of the muscles or tendons in a thin region of the abdominal wall. Once overexerted, a muscle tear occurs inside the groin. The overexertion occurs because of a losing battle with the adductor muscles of the thigh. The oblique muscles attach at the pubis in the groin. When contracting, they pull up on the pubis as the trunk flexes and rotates. Adductor muscles also attach at the pubis. The muscles pull on the pelvis from below as they work to move the femur medially toward the body. When both oblique muscles and adductor muscles contract at the same time, a tug-of-war of the pelvis ensues. Because athletes tend to focus on strengthening the lower body more so than the trunk, the adductor muscles are typically stronger. As a result the weaker oblique muscles tear, resulting in a sports hernia.

The above was copied and pasted from sportshernia.com. This is what I think I am suffering from. Most sites I've visited say that surgury is common in this type of injury. I am a mild case (or so I think) but it is painful getting in and out of bed and when I cough or sneeze. Seeing as this injury is muscular in nature I was hoping the Anavar might help. Any comments are appreciated!

yes it can help heal and accelerate the repair id say start at 2.5 mg twice a day for a week to see if you tolerate it then go to 5 mg twice a day and stay there for 8 to 10 weeks

MRI is the next step after blood work. But my husband has lost his faith in doctors and health "professionals". Seems like everyone is just out to make a dollar and their diagnoses are often contradictory.

I've taken Anavar before and it's one of my favorites mainly for the reason that it makes my aches and pains go away along with it's other properties.
