ANOTHER 5x5 Routine Question

I know you guys are sick of all these dumb ass 5x5 questions, especially since the routine is supposed to be easy to understand, but I just have a few quick questions I'd like some help with. Here's the 5x5 routine I came up with

Day 1-Chest
Bench-5x5
Incline DB Press-2x8
Dumbell Flyes-2x8

Day 2-Upper Back
Chins-5x5
Bent Over Rows-2x8
Cable Row-2x8

Day 3-Off

Day 4-Legs
Squats-5x5
Leg Press-2x8
Hamstring Curls-2x8

Day 5-Arms
Dumbell Curls-5x5
Close Grip Bench-5x5
Preacher Curls-2x8
Tricep Pushdowns-2x8

Day 6-Off

Day 7-Lower Back/Traps
Deads-5x5
Shrugs-2x8
Reverse Hypers-2x8

Does this look good? Is 5x5 deads and squats too much in one week? Or should I be fine for a while? I'm also going to throw in calves and maybe some forearm work whenever I have time. I don't have any direct shoulder work in there, I was thinking about adding some on either chest day or arm day.

5x5 on squats and deads is too much for me to handle. At first it's fine when the weights are lighter, but when you get up there, five heavy sets of either exercise is overkill.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I'll do the Lowerback/Traps day every other week, and keep everything else the same

if i was doing 5x5 i would do 3 days something like:

Day 1
BB Bench 5x5
Incline DB 5x5
Military press 5x5

Day 2
Squats 5x5
Stiff legged deadlifts 5x5
Abwork - whatever you fancy - usually 3-5 sets of 12

Day 3
Deadlifts - 8 heavy singles after warming up, work upto about 90% of your 1 rep max (prefer singles)
Chins - 5x5
BB rows - 5x5

if needed a bicep exercise can go on back day and a tricep one on chest day.

for back exercises you dont have to do only deadlifts - the idea is to pick a heavy weight and do it repeatedly - so if you cant deadlift then BB rows, DB rows, chins whatever. its all good.

You'll be fine. I just did 5x5 this week for my power training routine. Every weeks rep scheme changes for me though. I didn't do too bad considering it was the first time i did 5x5, but yea you should be fine with 5x5 squats and deads, its how you get stronger.

that's incorrect if you're wanting to do 5*5 posted here by NS... way too many sets
