anyone else grow up on video games???

Just got done playing a couple hours of SKYRIM. Definitely entertaining. Although far from 600 hours...(lol)...there is literally...SO MUCH to this game. You can spend dozens of hours just doing one thing such as hunting and blacksmithing or mining and smelting your ore. It's just insane how big this world is and how much there is to do.

Got to watch yourself so you don't become too addicted. I can see why people do get immersed into this game. So many little details to the world of Skyrim that you can become a part of.

I had to switch it off. Hurt my eyes. lol.

Contra haha only way I could beat that game was with the konami code up up down down. Yeah you know your a gamer when you are bored on San Andreas driving as slow as the ingame traffic.

I always liked racers and shooters, the turok series was pretty cool on 64. Of course Mario, my wife liked playing COD black ops against the computer on the multiplayer maps, we both always play the Ratchet and Clank series as well. I have all the MX video games of course, and gotta have the newest COD. I am one of the most competitive people in the world, so playing COD online makes me want to destroy my PS3, Tv, controller etc. I hate how damn good people are at that game and I HATE to lose haha. Haven't played skyrim, but a buddy of mine has it on Xbox and I have watched him play it. That game is unreal with the detail it has.

Is Skyrim that good? Heard it was but never thought about buying.

If you know Eldar Scrolls games, and you have played Morrowind or Oblivion and you are over the initial shock of it of how much those games give you, Skyrim is even better as the newest game because you know how things roll.

But its an easy investment easily adding up to around 150 hours of gameplay you could squeeze with a single character, NOT counting expansions they will probably eventually do.

Same thing with the Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Fall out 3 Game of the year edition(Which has all the expansions) sells for about 20 bucks, and its easily several hundred hours of gameplay.

I have sweet knife montages and videos of me going 25-0. or 43-2 from MW3 if you want to see em :beertoast

Including a blind long distance knife toss at the beginning of a match that got the first kill.

Yeah, I am that guy. LOL

But it comes and goes, if I am tired and not well rested I play like "normal". But if my ADD is on full blast, I have a wonderful time ruining peoples nights.

For those on a budget(like me) Check out Steam if you have a PC. They have sales everyday, and big sales on weekends. You can get 30,40,50,60 dollar games for 5-15 bucks sometimes.

I got a Nuke in MW2 with nothing but a tactical knife.

Um...no! I was just that good. probably still got the video on montage.

lol...that's how you knew people were boosting for a nuke...look at the bottom right corner and you'd see 'JakzMeOff292 Knifes LameSauce48249' over and over again.

I never got a nuke with just one thing. I only got the nuke once and it was total luck...the little helicopter and harrier got me most of it...Rundown I think it was.

Scared the shit out of me when 'Tactical Nuke - 25 Kills' popped up on my screen. I was like ':liar:'

Two words, fuck you! haha I really need to play that game more apparently.

Hell yeah. Gamings the shit and will always like it as with bodybuilding. Those were mainly what my early teen years were about and still are. I personally like the halo series best out of all the games. The fable series is good as well. Used to play runescape, but i quit. COD is the same old thing which is disappointing(not my style of games). Gears of war series is decent as well. Personally Halo 2 is still my favorite though(play on pc). Can't beat the classics!

Not really, just the normal Sega then PS, PS2, PS3.

I started back with MW2 then BlackOps. Tried Battlefield 3, didn't like it and now just play MW3.

I just find it crazy how people are already 11th Prestige, i'm barely gonna make 5th..I guess some folks have no lives :dunno:

Mw3 got old quick for me. It has a lot better upgrades from mw2 but its just rehashed hard. Thinking about switching to battlefield with that whole can't shoot through the wall blow it up, birthstone flashlight attachment is kinda shit.

Grew up on Mortal Kombat 1, 2, 3, Street Fighter, Sonic for Sega Genesis baby! Got a N64 and played Goldeneye, Mario, etc....

Then I discovered pussy and cars...
