Would a spinal cord injury effect test levels?
First off I would like to introduce myself. I've been a long time reader of this forum and had a question so I decided to join. Last december I was in a bad car accident resulting in a horrible back injury and nearly 2 months in Mass General Hospital. I have a t3-t11 fusion and had multiple burst fractures. Along with spinal cord injury, thankfully no paralysis. I'm almost back to 100% but since the accident I have noticed a decrease in my sex drive, mood, and overall stregth. I've researched the correlation between SCI and low test levels and havent really come up with much. I was intrested if anyone else that has had a back injury has any insight. I have an appt. set up with the endocrinologist. Its practically a night and day difference from before. I'm not on any meds so that can't have anything to do with my low sex drive. I'm 23 so I should be running around with a raging..well you get the point. Thanks in advance for any replies and or suggestions. I appreciate it.
