anyone ever drop-set deads?

I like to use beyond failure techniques whilst on cycle, but have never tried these on squats or deadlifts - for various reasons. Deadlifts are my favourite back exercise and I have a pretty heavy cycle coming up so I thought I might try a few drop-sets (strip sets? whatever you call them)... anyone else tried this with deads?
 
I agree. These lift should be preformed as heavy as possible, with perfect, or very close to perfect form. If you have any energy left to do a dropset, your not doing them hard enough imo! KISS on the big three lifts.
 
you could try doing deads till form breaks then go right into something like pullthroughs or hypers. it would be alot safer.

actually im thinking of dropping to 270 right now.... well starting monday :insane2:
