im not advisng you do it OP but if you do have someone in the room with you. Shit happens and an able body can help you if you pass out with a pin in your vein. just saying..

Yeah I wouldn't do it by myself. Housewoman is an RN she just hasn't taken blood before and I haven't either. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal but maybe I should just let someone else handle it.

It's been pretty high all of my life...maybe 160/120 or so is what I am with medication.

3J I will start taking what you posted. I do have access to Cialis, but I'm already on it. I think my hemocrit was 83. I've yet to get a copy of it so I could be off there.

If your BP is over 180 you should get to an error immediately... I dont think you understand the complications something like that causes.. Its life threatening

When mine is 145 I do pass out. I just started some new meds because I was having trouble passing out when I stand up...and that was at around 160.

I've given up on the bleeding myself out deal. I finally got to talk with my PC doc and she's upped my BP med and wants to see me in the morning.

ETA: I doubled my BP dose today and checked it just a little while ago...124/79. Feel like absolute shit but I guess this will get me into the okay to donate range.
