Anyone use a shoulder horn?

You can do the same thing off the top of an incline bench. Haven't used the shoulder horn itself, but I do use the exercises for my rotator cuffs and it has really helped to keep them healthy.

Oh, it's tool that keeps you from having to work stabilizer muscles along with the target muscles.......ok.

No, I haven't used that and unless I have a debilitating injury, never will.

Unless your 80 years old or have had injuries in the past, I wouldn't spend the money. Besides, there are machines that let you do similiar workouts, the point of the dumbells are to work those stabilizer muscles that this contraption is not allowing to work.

Not to mention.... I am 5'8'', 175, if I pulled that out in my gym, some guy, 270 lbs, would beat me over the head with it.

you guys bashing the shoulder horn are full of crap . my workout partner is a WORLD RECORD HOLDER !! in the aapf/apf powerlifting federations , and i aint no chump myself ;) , and both of us along with a lot of other guys in our gym use the horn . some use it to warm up with and others to rehab injuries . im not saying that its mandatory for everyone but i am saying that just because you use one it doesnt make you a wimp . after all some of the rehab work being done is from lifting serious tonnage .

Exactly; like I said, if I had a serious injury I would use it. I totally understand using it for the purposes you listed, but not generally during a workout.

DADAWG - I am sure the shoulder horn has its place and is very helpful for some. But most are not injured nor are we world record holders by any means. Most likely I would get my ass kicked at my gym if I , 5'8'' 175, busted that out.

your missing the point bro , its not a workout tool its a warmup tool . if you workout with a bunch of dumbasses who dont warm up before pileing on the weight you need a new crowd anyway
