Yes. Winstrol isn't all that great.

I would much rather run Test and I think you would do well with Anavar as well.
 
yea i would have to say for basketball Anavar (var) and/or test e. most people use Winstrol (winny) as a cheaper alternative to Anavar (var) .
 
i would not say Winstrol (winny) is even good at all for athletes.

there are much better alterantives than winnie. the sport/goals involved determine which compound is best.

I've moved up from the 154lb weight class to 187lbs from food alone. I had to gain the weight because I bacame anemic from starving myself to get down to 154. My natural weight is 175-180.

I want to continue to move up in weight while increasing my speed and keeping my staminawhich has already suffered a bit. Stamina is one trade off you really can't avoid when gaining weight.

I just want something that can help with the stamina instead of harming it... if that's even possible.

edit- I'm about 200lbs now.

double edit- did a bit of reading on anavar. looks pretty good. especially with the liver toxicity.

triple edit- You guys fuckin rule. When I go to any martial arts forum and I'm disgusted by all the ignorant meatheads but I come here and you guys dont flame and you're like frickin scientists. You guys are supposed to be the meat heads! ;)
What going on!? I suppose it's cuz you guys are actual athletes where as the UFC fans are all armchair athletes.

sus 250 would be good , i gained 15 lbs on it my 1st cycle and kept it the only thing with that is my cardio sucked while on, i fought mma , so thats another issue to think abut. It could be just me but it seems like everytime im on my cardio sucks ass

Yeah, I tried that for about a month when I was in highschool. I had to get off cuz I was gonna blow a fuse and kill someone. I was way too young.

Even though I'm old enough now I'll still be staying away from that.

The reason I chose wini is because its what Ben Johnson was using. I figured it'd be best for speed and power.
 
Im pretty sure Ben Johnson got caught with Stanozonal (i'm pretty sure its spelled wrong).

Anyways, i read somewhere in this forum that winnie sucks for athletes coz it degenerates the tendons - makes them bigger but more brittle. Anavar (var) actually stimulates cross linking in between the cells of the tendons thus making them stronger (or something like that). Too bad i didn't save the page on my favorites, that could really help you decide. I train in MMA myself and it helped me decide.

Like I said IMO the best stack for a MMA would be..

Example:
Test 200-300mg WK
Anavar 50mg ED
EQ 600mgWk

Less water retention from prop..but like you said more frequent injects would be a downfall.

200-300mg of Test E would not cause much water retention. If its a problem use a AI...

My vote is for Test E/C
