I'm reading this book called power eating volume three. It has a post-workout smoothy consisting of various fruits and milks and yogurts with some honey.
example
1/2 cup strawberries
1 cup milk
1 cup orange juice or other juice
1 cup flavored yogurt
2 tbsp of honey
1 scoop isolated protein 24 g
would there be a problem with including or basing my whole postworkout shake on fruit and juices with honey or is it better to go with maltose and dex with some protein. i know your not suppose to consume fruit before or during your workout because fructose is not used for energy or broke down the same as other sugars.but is there any problem with consuming it after your workout. please give facts and scientific evidence in your reply. no random "i think this" -------------thanks bro's
