Are PHs a legit and worthwhile investment? NEWB Question.

Newish here and checking out the different areas on the site. Wanted to get some opinions on PHs, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and Cycling. I posted a similar thread in the Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and AAS sections to get a variety of opinions.

I'm in my mid 30's but have been active throughout adulthood. My nutrition is and has been pretty on point and I engage in weight lifting, running, triathlon, and adventure racing. I'm about 5'8" at 165 and ~8% BF. I've got some injuries to my elbow, shoulder, back, and pelvic bone but they're managed. My problem is that I feel that my energy and motivation are waning. I'm interested in: increased muscle, incresased strength, faster running, healing injuries, increased libido, and most importantly greatly increased energy and recovery.

I've gotten some good opinions regarding Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and AAS and many believe getting a test for my current hormone levels is the first step.

Aside from that, I'd like to hear from PH users on how you all feel about PH products as far as value and efficacy and how they compare in effectiveness to Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and AAS.

Thanks.

Honestly Pro hormones are very strong some of them are just as strong as oral steroids or stronger than certain oral steroids. For example superdroll is around as strong as dianabol maybe a little weaker but superdroll is way worse on your liver. If I where you I would go with the testosterone replacement therapy route. Take the perscribed dosage for about 5 months see how you react to it and see if you are prone to gynomastia or any other problems. Pro hormones are honestly just a pain in the ass they work good but then you are stuck with using over the counter post cycle therapy products and hoping they work good. If your going to get pro hormones I would look into Orbit nutrition because they are a trust worthy sponsor of the site, have good quality products, and also once you get your posts up to 50 posts you can private message them about maybe a good starter pro hormone to take. I don't know if they wan't people private messaging them or not honestly but the worst thing that can happen is they ask you to post your question about what pro hormone to take in the pro hormone section. If you do decide to go the pro hormone route I would start out with something like h-stane or h-drol which are the same pretty much anything that says halo in it is the same to as what i mentioned. Injectable steroids aren't as bad on your liver though. But unless you have liver problems running one pro hormone cycle of a week pro hormone won't do anything bad. But I would advise anyone to check with theyre doctor and get blood tests done and all that good stuff and not to drink while on cycle. But that is just the safe route when it comes to getting liver enzymes checked most people dont take it that seriously. Lol before I started my pro hormone cycle though I got my liver scanned and kidneys to with the same instrument they use on pregnant girls to see the baby.

I def say get a test done to see if you have any issues with your hormones going on. as far as ph/ds yes they are very useful.we at mr supps carry an array of them. as long you run your cycles correctly you should be fine and make some great gains.and yes its always a good idea to get panels done before and after to make sure everything is running fine like it should.

I used a DS/PH for my first ever cycle of exogenous hormones and it went well. Granted, I chose a mild compound that would keep side effects low, I still managed to put on 7-8lbs. and have kept 6lb. of that so far through diet and training. So, in my opinion they are a nice useful tool for those who want to "test the water" with hormones or those who don't feel ready to start an injectable cycle of AAS albeit the gains aren't as great.

Are there cons of DS/PH? Hell yeah. In addition to the risks you get from normal AAS, you get hepatoxicity (liver damage due to 17aa) which is a big deal if you like to drink occasionally. Price is a con if you aren't too sure where to look for things.

I hope this helped you. I'd look into getting a blood test done as it sounds like you might be suffering from low T levels. You might get prescribed testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) if that's the case.
