I believe the greatest risk would be if your estrogen levels fall too low it will hinder your body's ability to absorb calcium. Below is a copy and paste from one of the many web sites on the subject.

Calcium absorption also depends on hormones. Women beyond menopause are under increased risk of developing osteoporosis (bone loss), not because they would be lacking in dietary calcium but because they lack the estrogen needed for proper absorption

Arimidex will play havoc with your lipid profile, more specifically it will lower your HDL, (good cholesterol), and that is not a very good thing. I did notice one my last cycle, I took Flush Free Niacin along with Arimidex and my HDL dropped only very slightly.

Sorry, guess I should clarify. Arimidex is used to keep sides away. Sides like gyno, estrogen bloat, etc... I am even convinced it helps keep the zits off on heavy androgen cycles.

As far as anything internal, like StoneCold said, Arimidex is known to play around with your cholesterol profile but in the end, there are definitely ways to fix this when use is ceased. As far as common sides likes headaches, sweats, zits, gyno, liver problems, etc., arimidex does not give you any of these.

Of course, if you think about the makeup of arimidex, if you use too much of it, you are going to totally mess up your estrogen levels. Producing zero estrogen is not good. But if you stick to using the recommended dosages, you should be able to avoid that problem.

Flush free niacin is used to bring up HDL levels, in the range of 1500-3000mg a day. Using this logic, taking it with things that would lower you HDL is a good idea. Is it foolproof, probably not.

I wouldn't worry about its effect on calcium absorption, arimidex suppresses estradiol by about 50 % in men vs. 90 % in postmenopausal women. If you use it with aromatizable AS like test, your estradiol might stay in normal range...

Here's how mine changed; Jan 03 was 6 months since a cycle, Aug 03 was 4 weeks after cycle ended with 1 mg Arimidex EOD. Cycle was 437 mg/week of Test Enanthate
