Arms will not grow, still the same since last cycle a year ago

Well I havent been on gear for almost a year now. My last cycle was 625mg of test e a week for 14 weeks. My arms went from 14-3/4" to 15-1/4". This was last June I took the measurements. Just took measurements the other night and they're still 15-1/4". My chest/lats have gotten bigger since my last cycle. Before last cycle by chest was 41-5/8", end of cycle was 42-1/8", now it's 42-3/4. Any idea why my arms just will not grow unless Im on gear? I am 5'6" and in the mornings I weigh 165 16%bf. What size arms would be considered big arms for my height?

Edited: FYI my measurements are done relaxed and unflexed.

I have your problem but with my calves. I got huge quads and tiny calves. Firstly your weight is low given your bf% and your height. I think that you need to eat more food to grow those arms. I would also recommend giving arms their own day. I personally do not like this but many people say it helps them grow past a plateau. I still think that your weight is low for someone who has cycled and you need to fix that before anything else, and don't add too much bodyfat while you are bulking as you already are a bit higher than most here recommend. What are your goals? Why do you measure them unflexed? Is that standard protocol? Not sure as I don't measure my arms

I was always told to measure unflexed. Flexed they're almost an inch and half bigger. Most of my weight is kept in my gut, you can see the outside of my abs. I'm also going by what my scale says my bf% is. Not sure how accurate it is tho. Also A couple of months ago I had the flu for almost 3 weeks. That messed me up. I do arms on their own day.

My arms have always been tiny compared to the rest of me and the only thing that works for me is working them a lot. I've heard CT Fletcher talk about working arms everyday, I've never done that so I have no clue how that works but I know for me working my arms a few times a week helped me more than anything else. Like tury said, have a designated arm day and then work them other days during the week, not saying do and entire arm workout everyday but do a few sets of curls after your back day or close grip bench after chest day etc, just enough to burn them out a bit and get some blood flowing to them.

You drink a lot of beer? I know some guys who are built but carry some good fat around their midsection from drinking 6 beers a night. Maybe find a way to contact that 3J guy. I am sure that he can put you on track to gain some arm size. Do you do heavy weight or just lift for a pump in the higher rep range? Whichever you do try the opposite. I'm trying to throw shit out there because I am kind of stumped. I still think that you should be able to get your weight up some more without too much bf% going up. How does your scale measure bf% btw?

I say aim for 175 lbs at 14% bf. At your height you will have bigger arms at those stats for sure. Hell I'm only one or two inches taller than you and I am at close to 225 right now, but also close to 20% bf

This guy is smart. I know a lot of guys overly focused on arm development who swear by the close grip bench with heavy weight. CT is full of shit and working on arms everyday is not a good strategy imo

adding lots of fiber to the diet might get rid of that mid-section fat.

More Time under tension = bigger arms

I'd bet on arms training that you are just moving the weight from point a to point b - you can't grow arms that way.. Slow down, lower the weight, increase the volume, and squeeze during the whole movement,, even with the straight bar try to pronate at the top (even though it's impossible mentally trying to pronate helps the muscle to squeeze).

Also, remember that the triceps make up the majority of your arm mass

yep. I know that. I leave my ego at the door. I can't upload pics from my phone on here but when I get home I'll upload some pics.

And no, I don't drink beer.

Well to be honest do you know how hard it is to gain inches shit even a solid inch of muscle natty? Well guess you do any reason you cycled then stopped for a year

This^^^^ 9 times outta 10 guys arms dont grow because the weight they use is too heavy and they dont know the proper biomechanics of how the bicep and tricep move thus not being able to properly contract the muscle.

Yo wassup fellow green square brothas i gotta act different now with these squares gotta tuffen up my persona and talk like yo yo wassup

Your not on trt? I wouldn't complain looks like your on low dose test so thats a good thing if your off gear

No I'm not on trt. Man I can't even get blood work done in my state. Been to a hand full of doctors and they all refuse to get bloods done. privatemdlabs won't do it and labsdirect won't do it either. Not being able to get blood work is keeping from running other gear, I stick with test only cycles and still don't like running test without getting blood work.

His arms aren't even small. Not sure what he is worried about. OP stop stressing about that shit so much. My calves now those fuckers are small compared to every other muscle.

When I look at my arms, they're small to me. My calves are pretty small too. A little over 14". My legs will grow on gear but they're the 1st thing to shrink off of gear. Its almost depressing.

The thing is they haven't grown in almost a year. I don't do heavy weight, I do about 4 to 5 sets to 15-20 reps. If I do 5 sets, On the 5th rep I don't count, I actually just start saying random words believe it or not. I just go til I fail. I do squeeze, all the way down and up, concentrate on the negatives. i would of hoped to put on at least another 1/4" by now.
