Aromasin Rebound Effect?

Hey Guys,

I like to know if you could help me out.

I was looking at getting some aromasin to lower my estrogen levels. My total E's are high (219 range 40-115) and E2 levels are at the top of the reference range.

From the information I've read Arimidex doesn't make much of a difference in total E's and I've read from other's experiences that aromasin will lower total E's, so I am looking at using aromasin.

I've read that aromasin is a suicide Estrogen Inhibitor, if I lower my Estrogen levels too much with aromasin, will they rebound back to appropriate levels?

I dont understand what you mean ,do you mean that a-dex doesent lower estrogen well thats not true a-dex is one of the best drugs fpr that purpose it lowers 80% of the estrogen but the problem with letro and a-dex is that your lipoid profile gets f-cked up but not from aromasin and about the rebound effect dont take to high doses so you wont worry about that 25mg is enough but you can start with 12,5mg and i dont know if you need to take it ed because it has a long halflife so maybe eod

1- Arimidex only lower E2 by about 50%, not 80.

2- For every study that show Arimidex has a negative effect on your lipid profile, I can show you one that says it doesn't.

At a dosage of 1mg/day, you can expect an 80%+ reduction in E2. But we don't want that.

I wouldn't recommend it unless I knew for certain that it worked, but you might want to consider using Indolplex with DIM. Many of the Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) guys have controlled their total estrogens with this stuff, and I've seen many, many lab tests that prove it works. The subjective benefit is also very high.

DIM works differently than the AIs. It actually increases the metabolization of estrogens.

Lots of discussion on E2 and total estrogen management over in an Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) forum that SWALE used to moderate.

Sorry Bro,

Mistyped, I mean adex doesn't lower Total Estrogen's significantly, it does a very good job at lowering Estradiol (E2).

I wanted to try aromasin, and just want to find out more about the rebound effect before starting.

How long would you recommend it being used for?

If anyone's tried aromasin, please give me some feedback.

I should have known better than to dispute something you said.

Thanks for the study link. The is one of the few studies that I have seen that looks at the use of an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) in men rather than women. I'm shocked at how much lless effective the Arimdiex appears to be in men than it is in woman.
