I have been in MMA for 10+ yr I am 250lbs and in all my training I have learned to respect big and little alike. I have had my ass handed to me by a 150lb guy and have taken it to guys much bigger than me. That said if it were me I would think of joining an other gym. Why? Because nothing good will come out of kicking his ass. If you are a bigger guy the chances of you doing serious damage or even killing him are great. on the other hand he might be the most badass dude in the gym, I dont care how big he is or what he looks likes. not to mention time out of the gym while you recover, win or lose you will get hurt. Then add in some jail time and get in with guys who like to fight! So IMHO i would avoid it at all costs, even if it means you have to join a new gym.
