5'9" 180lbs
i am a runner currently coming off a hamstring injury and wanting to cycle 6 weeks of 50mg of winstrol(tabs) every day and 125mg of test prop every other day! primary focus of this cycle is to hopefully gain my speed, strength and indurance back becasue of my hamstring injury (which is why there are low doses and only 6wk cycle). also, this cycle is mostly focused on the Winstrol (winny) for it's uses in running. thoughts, advice, recommendations greatly appreciated!! thank you! P.S. still a little unsure on how i wanna go about this PCT after reading so many opinions and advice on that would be appreciated too, which pct would suit me best! thank you. please, insight, not criticism
 
winny is hard on joints and tendons. You need more aas research.

peptides may help.
also a test/var combo may help.

PCT just do 50mg Clomid ed for 3-5 weeks.

man running a cycle like this in my opinion isnt the best idea , maybe you should wait until u have the time to run a full cycle and do it for 12 weeks . winstrol makes the tendons brittle and flushes water , not something ud want to have while just coming off an injury, running test this short even with the prop ester isnt going to get u anywhere , before it hardly kicks in , you are goign to be coming off , and just gonna shut yourself down for not much , id say either run a full cycle or wait till u can , pct would be clomid and nolva for 4 weeks , clomid 50/50/50/50 nolva 40/40/20/20 4-5 days after your last injection
 
whoever told u Winstrol (winny) was good for running doesn't know wtf they're talking about. like said above its 1 of the worst things for this as it dries your joints out
 
Hey Sousa. Be careful about what you hear from other people, you need to do your more of your own research. Don't take that the wrong way - you may be dialed in with your general fitness knowledge, but it sounds like you need to do some more research on gear.

Winstrol is known for drying you up and causing joint issues, probably not the best idea for your situation - especially with a recent injury. I've never used it personally, but do some searching on the boards and you'll find what you need. Google it too, there's tons of good info out there from experienced users.
 
thank you all! very informative and helpful. @bigkit34 in 1988 seoul olympics, ben johnson tested positive for winstrol, he was stripped of his gold medal and world record. but i will continue to research and what not, thank you for the tips everyone.
 
Also! i have done the research and have read about how it is hard on joints and all that jazz, i'm willing to try it and see how my body personally takes the steroid (because everyone is different). but i will still take into account everyones recommendations, if they're knowledgeable of course!
 
ben johnson's coach also claims he gave him steroids that were undetectable at that time but not winstrol and claims he would never give his runners winstrol because he knew it would tighten them up and lead to injury. they still dispute that test to this day and say he was slipped the Winstrol (winny). if u don't wanna listen to me and do it anyway thats fine, but to make a comment questioning my knowledge when its pretty clear u have no experience is laughable!
 
listen, i've read it too. the benefit of winstrol and running far outweighs drying joints (when i can take joint support supplements) and tight muscles (which i can help ease by stretching) by reducing the water in your muscles and making them hard and strong, good for running, which i do, which i know quite a bit about. if i can become a lot stronger without gaining weight, then that's good for running, which is why i consider it. i know the harmful effects, those are risks i'm willing to take, but you have to look past that, and the benefits of the androgenic effects of winstrol.
 
ur not listening bro its not just tight muscles but tendons and ligaments as well. joint supplements won't do anything for u in this regard and just because u know how to stretch doesn't mean it won't make u tight and injury prone. y even come on the board and ask for advice from people more experienced than u if ur gonna disregard everything we say?
 
@bigkit34 i'm not disregarding what you say, i'm just simply stating that from what i've read, it works great for running, i mean no disrespect and appreciate your concern and thank you for acknowledgeing my post.

and @phatboy i'm a 400/800 runner with my primary focus on the 800. but i'd love to gain speed and cut down my 400 time. 400-48.6 / 800-1:55.55 . i'm no world class athlete but love to run and want to get a lot faster
 
You might wanna look into eq. I remember taking around 600 to 800 mg ew. I have to be honest, when I added 200 mg of test ew, it seemed to hurt my endurance (in comparison to eq alone), but it increased my sex drive.
 
Just want to add that after taking eq alone for a couple of months, my sex drive was just not there. I added the test for that reason.
