Attn: Techies.....Rooted Android?

Has anyone here successfully rooted their Android WITHOUT a computer? If so, did you use framaroot.apk or the blade file?

Im not into games whatsoever, but i would like to personalize and configure my Android (Galaxys3).

From what i understand it seems easier without a computer. I believe you only have to download direct form your phone.

No way would I ever try it without having access to ODIN or the help of xda at my fingertips. Also be careful if you decide to add a custom ROM as I'm not sure if they ever patched that issue with having to go back to 3.1 in order to flash ahead again without bricking your phone.

I have the Galaxy s3 SGH1747 4.1.2.

I look a bit deeper into using the computer with USB. It just seems a bit intimidating at this point.
