I am a criminal defense attorney, and I suspect that the guy was a rat. 2.5 months is very mild for the charges. The witnesses in that case were probable Law enforcement, so I don't see how they could have problems with witnesses. And if the search was illegal, he probably would have had everything dismissed.

In any event, anyone who brags about his crimes like that is not someone I'd want to share a board with.

I have to agree....very few people can get caught w/ that amount and variety and not go to prison. And the excepetions are VIPs and rats, period. Hell, in many states your up the creek w/ simple posession and gun charge. IMO that dude is probably a just a cop pulling info out of his ass. Just smart enough to get a rise out of people.

The guy is full of shit. The mandatory minimum sentencing guidelines would have put him away for likely the rest of his life - that's from a federal prosecutor whose opinion I asked.

I'm not saying he is truthfull, but what he is saying is that he was not convicted of anything in the end. Sounds like he didn't make bail somehow.
