Barbell Rows bad??

Heard barbell rows are hard on the shoulders. This a fact?? I'd like to throw in some different back movements(I usually alternate upright rows, lawn mowers, wide grip lat. pull downs) Thought i'd try giving BB rows a try, but my right shoulder really sucks and I don't want to mess it up more then it is if bb rows are hard on them. Any suggestions??

try underhand grip or dorian rows... bb rows are next to deads (imo) on back workouts do em light but dont cut em out completely

use good form and you shouldnt have a problem..
if you need to stretch then so be it..most people dont realize how much the whole body cmes into play when doing a bigger lift like that..make sure to stretch the whole body..

i stretch my shoulderrs out before squatting as well as everything else..most just stretch their quads

I never had a problem with my shoulders on these. Most people have a hard time with their lower back, that is why most peoples resemble shrugs.

Of the things that have bothered my shoulders, this isn't one of them. Not even remotely.

I've never really done them. Heard they were hard on the shoulders and just stayed away from them completely cuz i didn't wanna mess up my shoulder. Doesn't take much to do that for me. SO just did lawnmowers and seated rows. I'll start doing these today. :D
