Yes, both are important and I would include Creatine as well to the list. Personally I take :

10 grams BCAA PWO & Intra/Post Workout
10 grams Glutamine Post Workout Shake
10 grams Creatine Post Workout

(if you use a pre-workout supplement like N2KTS or Powerchews Pre-Workout, there is Creatine in them, if not then I would split 5 PWO/5 Post WO.

I use muscle replenisher by NTBM. It is protein, carbs, glutamine, creatine and bcaa's use coupon code needto139 for 15% off. I hear a lot of good things about mixed berry but have only tried lemonade which I really enjoy. Hope this helps

If your looking for a tastier way to get in your bcaa's and glutamine, check out powerchews bro. Basically candy bcaa's and glutamine.

I love the whole powerchews line. They are so easy on the go. No shakers water needed. Easy as grab a few and chew them up.

Wow... look at all the NTBM reps jumping in to try and sell you your soul. Would put a bade taste in my mouth. This stuff is actually very cheap, just dont get caught up in brand name crap - and get powders.

Example:
1000g ON Glutamine Powder - less than $40 (200+ servings at ~5g)
1000g primaforce BCCA powder - Less than $60 (200+ servings at ~5g)
1000g Creatine Mono powder - About $20 (200+ servings at ~5g)

Thats 6+ months supply for $120...

They are definately useful, especially BCAAs when cutting. I take Glutamine,BCAAs and creatine mixed with my protein drinks. Powders are the way to go, cheap and exactly what you want.

As for powerchews? I bought some, disliked them... have to eat 6 to get energy and im pretty sure thats just the caffiene kicking in with my coffee... they are large, chalk, gritty. Rather stick with pre workout capsules or shake... capsules are convienent. You'll be wasting your money on powerchews trading in 6+ months supply for 1 months... worth the extra money? Not at all.

IMO... your wasting your money taking 10grams in one serving.... your not going to absorb it. Thats way more than enough... just making your piss cost more.

Hmm several products out there and yes some like some while others don't like it. However after years of buying expensive crap at GNC, I started checking reviews and logs to see what the general results were of a product. That being said I came across Scivation's Xtend's. To me its not that high and taste is wicked awesome. Also creatine mono is till considered king of creatines, and you can always find it for less them $20. Check around for the prices and what your looking for. Orbitnutrition.com sells a ton of the top brands and they have sales going on daily. Good luck.

So basically 5 g of everything in my postworkout shake thats it?

what about greatine, shouldnt I take it throughout the day as well and on off days I take nothing??

Bro you can bs about this bs about that. Supplements will help you out. Ntbm does have great shit regardless what this dude says. When it comes down to it It's food that makes you a stud or a dud. You can't take as many supplements as you want, but if you don't eat right none of that matters. Look up logs from non reps and you will see everyone has been greatly pleased with ntbm. Look ar my avatar if you can't dead that much get on my level. I use nothing but ntbm products. Nothing but great customer service, great product at a great price.

Thanks for the support bigherm. Hell I spend most of my time over the in AAS section just helping guys out with stuff over there where ntbm products aren't even mentioned or recommended a single time. It's about helping people, if I think an ntbm product can legitimately help someone with their goals, I'm going to recommend it. If not, i'm not going to.

Its nothing against NTBM other than theres an excessive flood of reps everywhere you look, almost like OVER advertising but whatever, thats not why i made my coments. The guy is concerned about prices and what he can afford, and immediately was referred to exspensive brand name supplements that are NOT needed by a swarm of over eager NTBM reps.. but hey.. you guys gotta make a buck.. its all good. I was looking out for his best interests in educating him on the REAL prices for quality powders as opposed to name branded fancy chewables or unneeded mixes. If you were looking out for his best interests you would see the dude doesnt have a shitload to spend on overpriced supplements therefore, i gave him his options for supplements that are JUST as good without the nonsense.

Besides, the dude wanted opinions on the whether the supplements were beneficial and not sales pitches.

Dont take it personally.

I take 4-5g creatine every mid-morning with protein, then workout around 1PM, and take 4-5g creatine/BCAA/glutamine post workout with protein. Then I go home and have a large meal. You can take another 4-5g glutamine a few hours after your post workout shake as well if you want, but thats up to you. You dont need to take it on off days.

Some people choose to drink BCAA/creatine directly before a workout and/or drink BCAA during a workout. Personally, i dont mix drinks for during... just before/after and then a good casein before bed. The rest i get from food.

To answer your question, you take creatine on off days and only really need BCAA/Glutamine for post workout days. i mix 2 creatine drinks a day of 4-5g because its so cheap, but even that is overkill for saturation.

Hope that helps! They are definately cheap enough but nothing is more effective than creatine mono and protein! BCAA and Glutamine are optional!

well you can always buy bcaa and glutamines powerchews, there are 45 servings and its all you need and they taste like candy.
i order mind from NTBM store, check them out.

not putting any of these products down..just my own personal view...tried power chews once and it was terrible..felt like eating chalk. also felt that NTBM products a little expensive.

you can buy bulk bcca and glutamine fairly cheap.

this is my choices., Using BCAA's is a good choice.. I use this everyday! And its amazing... ;)
