BCAAs: Intra-workout vs. post-workout ?

I hear a lot of people sip on BCAAs intra-workout (during their workout), while others say it is better to take it post-workout. Some people prefer both intra and post, and some even add a dose in the morning upon awakening. So this begs the question...

What is your preference on when to take BCAAs?

I personally take them post..... ill have a shake in the morning sometimes.....BCAAs might have their place intraworkout but carbs make more sense really. Powerchewz BCAAs after every workout for me.

Thanks fellas. I was thinking post is more sensible also. I was thinking to take 10g total per day.. 5g upon awakening with breakfast and 5g in my PWO shake (mixed with 5g of creatine).

You guys think this ok?

I take 5 grams pre/intra/post workout...that is my preference, and will use Powerchews BCAAs during the day inbetween meals to keep nitrogen retention up. These are a staple during IF as well.

Both man, I like to drink a muscle replenisher shake throughout my workout and throw down some BCAA powerchews post workout. Then eat a good meal 30-45 minutes later.

what bcaa's u talkin about? each compound does a different thing thats why there are bcaa's on its own so you can get the individual bcaa you need for your personal needs... if you dont know or keep track its better to take protien.... same price double benefit because protein has a complete bcaa structure in it

like i take glutamine supplementation because im a stressed out person and stress eats away at glutamine so i need extra supplementation
i also take arginine because it increases blood flow allowing nutrients to get to my muscles faster

if your gunna breakdown your bcaas, u gotta know y ur doin it imo
