been cuting and gained weight..?

i have been cutting for a month now.. and i have been on a slightly modified 5x5 routine and i actually gained 7 lbs... my strength has gone up tremenduously too...
diet
7am 4 eggs
10 am protein bar
1230 pm pbj sandwich
330 protein bar
6 pm 4 meatballs, london broil, or chicken
10pm whey and milk

training
mon chest shoulders
5x5 bench
2x8 incline dbell press
2x8 incline flye
1x8 military press(if i have anything left in me to press more)
2x8 side laterals

tues legs
5x5 squat
2x8 leg press
2x8 ham raise
1x12 calf
wed off
thurs back
5x5 dead
2x8 bb shrug
2x8 bb bent row
2x8 lat pulldown

fri(rarely)
3x6 bb curls
1x12 preacher
3x6 close grip bench or reverse grip
1x12 kickback

anyone got anything to critique please help me cause i got to get to atleast 170 lbs by may.... im at 190 now... also fri is rarely done because my arms get pounded on back and chest day

Well, if you are cutting and indeed are losing BF, than who cares. I would say that is awesome.

I actually do the same split as you, different exercises and not 5x5, but same split. I love it.

What do you make your PBJ sandwich with? I.E....What kind of bread, peanut butter and jelly do you use?? I love PBJ but have pretty much stopped eating them while trying to lose a little BF. But if you're dropping BF eating them I'd like to know what you are using.
 
i make my pbj with rye bread and a low fat peanut butter.. but im losing bodyfat so iguess its the training thats making me big but i guess i cant complain

PB on Rye sounds nasty but I'm going to try it. Rye has a good glycemic # so that might explain why your not gaining fat. PB is a pretty source of protein....and then there is the jelly...pure sugar unless you use something like Polaner (sp?) All Fruit...but I like the shit smuckers grape jelly.

you gotta try the natural peanut butter....a lot healthier and much tastier mmm, mmm, mmm.
