my cousin has decided he is ready to get in shape. he won't walk across the street to the store. he has to drive. yes a lazy sob. we go to a gnc and the sales person sells him $713.00 worth of everything you can imagine. i try desperately to intefere with the sale. i try to pull him out the store to no avail so i snatch his credit card and try to run out. salesman calls security and they made me give it back. cousin has bought lots of worthless junk. are there any honest sales poeple who will help someone out when obviously they have no clue? or is just about making a buck?

the supplement industry is a scam.. 70% of the shit they sell is worthless

i transform peoples bodies for a living.. and i barely use supps in the diets i create

for 1/4 of the money your cousin spent on those suppse he could have hired me as a coach and made more progress in a month with me than in a year with that crap

business is business, was his name Stu by any chance? ;)

not sure of his name but he gave me this smug look knowing he got over big time. i'd love to get revenge on this guy in a legal way. my cousin now walks around posing his blubber like he is the new mr O. now that part is funny. wish i could out this bro.

Instead of looking at it from a wasted money aspect, ENCOURAGE him to put those shiny supplements to use! The placebo effect is quite powerful (it's a big part of how the supplement industry remains afloat) and he may see results by you guiding him to train effectively and eat properly.

Use this as a way to get him talking and thinking about fitness non-stop! Eventually he'll come to realize that it was him all along, and by then he may have gotten over the hump that prevents so many from living the lifestyle.

I see an opportunity here, not necessarily a tragedy. ;)

i agree but this os MY cousin we're talking about. he sits home and has some job he does with his computer. (suspect) and now takes his supplements and does dombell curls probably twice a day. won't train. sandwich after sandwich all day. hard to get him motivated. if the house caught on fire he would grab that sandwich before the fire extinguisher. i'm dead serious. maybe he'll get there.
