Hi, im 20 years old rugby player. im 5ft 10 and currently weigh 86.7kg. I have been told that to have a chance of making it i need to add some bulk. I have been training for 6 years regularly and extremely fit and healthy.

i have been doing research for around 3months and recently asked have spoken to someone of starting a cycle of winnie and anavar
25days on
6weeks off
25days on

would like to know the general consensus about if i am too young to do a cycle or if one cycle would be good to get that bulk and strength gains. Ive also done the research into taking milk thistle and cod liver oils and winnie dry's the joints out. any info would be brilliant, still trying to make my mind up as i have had no advice from proper trainers on gear.

many thanks in advance

do you live in australia?

don't take winnie, and if you're going to put any hormone into your body, you need to supplement your natural testosterone production because it will shut down while you're taking other shit. you need to inject test, anything else is something you add on to that.

Eat more and lift heavier. If you need roids to cross the line from amateur to professional you're likely going to have a short career on the pitch.

What does your current diet and routine look like? Please, don't try to second-guess me or tell me what you think I want to hear or bend the truth to make it sound better than it is. Full disclosure, please. I want a breakdown of everything you eat in a day and when and what your training routine is, in detail.

Other than the fact you are too young why would you want to run 2 orals to destroy your liver? Start with a simple Test cycle if you are determined to run a cycle.

500mg EW and have a post cycle therapy (pct) planned out before you start

once your eating 5k in cals ED, (clean cals) come back to us.

20 is too young but a short d bol blast shouldnt fuk you up too much after the cycle.

but you need to do everything possible to get bigger before you turn to AAS

i am at university on a sports performance degree which is for a degree but so i have time to train, on a playing week ill train 3 times a week with a specific programme from S&C coach, if not a training week like now (going into pre season) ill be following programmes ranging from hypertrophy for 4 weeks, strength then power with 4/5 sessions a week. my diet at the moment inst great as i have been trying to get as many calories in as possible... have around 5/6 meals a day with a couple of shakes (weight gainers). i was told to do the winnie and anavar by a guy who is on them... guessing now he doesnt really no what he is on about. however i will take your advice as most posts i have read on different places says 20 is too young

I applaud your humility. That is how my dumbass and many others here learn. Check your age, your diet, your goals, and your compounds. Ask specific questions you may not find the answer to during your research. This is what I do. I find as much information on past post, stickies, and profiles first. Then I start a thread if I still have questions. READ THE STICKY'S

I'd suggest simply hitting the weights room five days a week, calculating your macros and eating a clean diet - but eat an absolute shitload of food, don't get me wrong - and consider a routine like Layne Norton's PHAT (I'd suggest PHAT as a basis, cut some of the extraneous bullshit exercises that Norton suggests and focus more on the core ideas like powerful, explosive movements with heavy weights for low reps, then moving on to isolation work at higher reps, doing as many sets as his program suggests would probably be counterproductive even if you were hormonized). Alternatively look into Bill Starr's 5x5 or Rippetoe's Starting Strength or Stronglifts.

If you're going out with your mates and drinking the night away then sneaking in a cheeky KFC, cut that shit out right now. I've known plenty of people in my time at uni who came to me for an introduction to weight training so they could get bigger and stronger for boxing, Officer's Training Corp, etc and after a few weeks went back to their regular shitty diet, drinking with the lads every few nights and skipping gym sessions, then came bitching to me that they weren't making any progress - to which my response is, 'you get out what you put in'. You need to decide what's most important to you at this juncture - becoming a professional rugby player or trivial bullshit you can catch up on later.

I'd say do whatever you can to budget time and money for an on-point diet and as much time in the gym as you can log. Eat, sleep and breathe training and diet until you pack that muscle on.

Finally, well done on taking the advice people have given you in such a gracious manner. In my short time here I've seen a lot of newcomers enter for advice then not take it and act like asshats as it wasn't what they wanted to hear.

Good luck :D

ok brilliants thanks very much for the advice.... and for the record im a very committed person haha so hopefully taking the advice from you and others ill pack on some sizes!

many thanks again
