Best protocol for 300mg / week?

I will be on 300mg cyp per week for a short period of time in order to bring down my SHBG and raise my free/bio test. Prior to starting, my total T was in the 700s but my bio T was around 120 (110-575 range).

I was intending to do the test 1x week (Thurs), 500IUs of HCG 2 x week (Mon and Fri), and .5mg Arimidex 2 x week (same days as HCG).

I know I should probably do the test 2 x week, but I prefer 1x week if possible. Aside from that, are the HCG and Arimidex dosages/schedule appropriate?

TRT levels in the 700's you mean?
What's your SHBG at?
Personally I like 500 iu E3D. ..
you might knock Estradiol down to much with .5mg twice a week. Just keep an eye on it.

My SHBG was at 27 before I started TRT (my total T was 405 and bio T was 130). I first went on HCG monotherapy for 6 months at 1,000IUs 2x week, and I got my total up to 700, but my free/bio T hardly went up, as my SHBG went up to 52. I switched doctors and am trying the higher dose to try and bring the SHBG down. My e2 was 35 before I started the monotherapy, but I brought it down to 23 while I was on mono. My Dr didn't prescribe Adex while I was on the mono, so I bought the 1mg tablets and took .25 2x a week. I currently get my Adex in .5mg capsules, so I could just take 1 tab every 5 days instead of 2x week. So far I haven't experienced any joint pain or symptoms of low e2.

1 tab of adex won't work E5D's....
its half life is 50 hours.
Most people use it EOD-E3D. ...
How lean are u?
HCG mono and no adex ?
Estradiol looks good.

Maybe I should ask for .25mg capsules and take them EOD rather than .5 2x a week. I'm around 12% BF, but I haven't been that strict with my diet over the holidays. The female Dr I saw for the monotherapy didn't prescribe any Adex at all, instead she recommended that I take "Libidostim" which contained DIM, but it was over $50 for a months supply. I already had an e2 of 35, and I was afraid the HCG would make it go up more, so I bought Adex on my own and took a low dose until I could switch doctors.

Keep in touch with me. Stick around. I like your posts.

No need for custom caps of adex at 0.25 mg a piece.
Reg pharm grade tabs can be easily cut in 4's with pill cutter.
I would def. Recommend 0.125 mg caps of adex at 0.125 mg for anyone that may need them.

I was going to send you a PM, but I don't think I have enough posts yet. I really appreciate your feedback and advice, and I look forward to contributing more in the future.

Does it matter when I do the HCG in relation to the T? I was trying to space it out so that it's every 3.5 days...

Wouldn't that cause SHBG to go up?

It is a higher dose, but I could never get my free/bio T up at a lower dose. I wanted to try Proviron, but unfortunately it's not available, and Danazol is too expensive.

how long have you been on trt??

I never thought of that....so going to 2x a week for the T might help bring SHBG down?

Maybe somebody with a better understanding of the mechanism of the hormone can chime in on that, but I've always read that exogenous testosterone leads to an increase in SHBG. It's not always significant, but again, I'm just regurgitating anecdotal evidence that I've seen posted by other people.
