I'm referring to this article I read - mindandmuscle.net/forum/2360-nicotine-affects-3ahsd-dht
Basically, the proposed idea there, is that you get the advantages of estrogen and DHT without the unwanted parts, and without the negative aspects of reducing them.
By the addition of isoflavones, which bind to the beta-ER receptor allegedly which make up for the lost good affects and them some (increased anabolic muscle building through more beta-ER activity) of blocking out estrogen and DHT, without the bad.
Is this just bs broscience? Or is there something to that?
