blood drainage after delt shot

I am on doc prescribed trt 200 mg per week broken up into two shots on sunday evening and thursday mornings. I usually go with delt shots using an insulin pin that I backload. This morning I did my shot and as usual I always go all the way with the 1/2 inch needle as well as pressfirmly down to make sure I get it into muscle some depth. Upon finishing and withdrawing needle I had a fairly big stream of blood come out. I pressed firmly with alcohol gauze pad and stopped bleeding but wondering how much do you guys think I actually lost of the oil if you had to guess...? Now wondering if I should stick myself again with maybe just a quarter cc. to make up for possible lost oil. Any opinions at all? Thanks guys I appreciate it.

If I had to guess I would say the amount you lost was negligible. You probably nicked a blood vessel. The oil won't mix with blood, so unless your gauze pad was really oily probably only the thinner blood was coming out.

You're fine. Blood loss doesn't equate to gear loss
