Blood every time?

A flick? I think youre confused. I pull back a quarter of a cc. Blood will not always rush in immediately, as i have seen it take 2-3 seconds to appear before depending on the size of needle and location of injection. I AM a rn, Some meds dispensed require an extra half cc of air to be injected behind the medication and they tell us NOT to aspirate using this method. I just think its a waste of time and guys who arnt use to injecting often can hurt themselves in the process.

its not necessarily a flick but a little tuck on the plunger will let you know if your in a vein not exactly rocket scientist just common sense really.. glutes can be self injected but from time to time you will get sore lump ect due to movement when injection imo i like thigh its quick easy and i dont see how it could take 2-3 seconds to see blood maybe nudged a vein in the way in.

I've aspirated blood one time. It went right in as soon as I pulled on the plunger.

Really? Youre going to lecture us on aspirating while you take your lessons from spot injections.com? What would actuallly be the cause of death?

Im not saying that you should do anything cause I dont really care what happens to morons.

Where does anything say where I've learnt from? But if you use youre brain even you would realise that it is much easier to explain something with pictures, right?
