Got my blood tests from doc today. My Total T is just barely above board and my Bio T is in mid range. Can anyone tell me what they think?
Doc is gonna step it up to tray and get my system going again. Possibly prescribing clomid next visit...
Been off testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for a year now and blood Tests have not gone up more than 383 ng/dl for Total T)
other previous blood labs for Total T have been 288 ng/dl...
this bites!!!!

Total T = 9.2 nmol/L (range: 7.6-31.4 nmol/L)
Converted to ng/dl it is 265 ng/dl
SHBG= 23
Bio Available T= 7.1 nmol/L (range: 2.5-18.7 nmol/L)
FSH= 2 IU/L (range: 2-12 IU/L)
LH= 3 IU/L (range: 2-9 IU/L)
Vitamin D = 77 (range: 25-250 nmol/L)
Ferritin = 140 ug/L (range: 30-300 ug/L)
Cortisol AM: 397 (range: 170-540 nmol/L)
Prolactin= 5 (range: <18 ug/L)

Try the restart. If it doesn't take hold get on TRT. And get your vitamin D into the upper third of the range. Try supplementing 10,000 iu's per day and try to get more sunlight when you can.

25mg DHEA may be helpful as well.

Do you have any tests for DHEA or Estradiol?

Why are you still taking the Adex?

I notice my water weight goes up while coming off it after a week...could be my imagination though.
I have a higher BMI now then when on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) last year. My concern is to keep E2 suppressed with a mild dose of Adex and raise some Total T.
No raise in Total T has come about though since being clean a year.

I wouldn't keep taking adex when you are not taking testosterone unless you actually have elevated estradiol levels.

Sure you will put on some more water weight, but it is probably normal. Seems kind of like the argument of smoking to keep weight off. There are better diet plans than cigarettes. :-)
