So the last time i posted here, i was debating my next cycle. Instead of doing it however i decided to wait and i decided i wanted to get my bloodwork done in the mean time. I went yesterday and my results came today. I have done two cycles before. One was last August and the other was in February. They were just test e 500mg/wk. i feel like i have recovered fine from them and feel like i did before using.
Anyway, here are a few of my results:
Serum, Testosterone 407ng/dl range 348- 1197
FSH 2.3 mIU/mL range 1.5 - 12.4
LH 4.2 mIU/mL range 1.7 - 8.6
estradiol 19.1 pg/mL range 7.6 - 42.6

The serum testosterone and the FSH are pretty low. So my question is what are my options really. Do i consider testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) or can i get them up to 700+ with clomid or something.

I pretty much figured my test was gunna come back low as ive always felt depressed, have mood swings and lately im tired all the time(my sleep schedule is messed up though), but even when i get 8+ hrs im still tired.

Many don't realize or think about it but PCT is to get your body making testosterone again. To get fully back to normal pre cycle levels it can take well over a year and up to 18 months assuming you don't use in that time.

People take blood at the wrong time IMO, 2 weeks after a PCT the levels will be higher than say 12 weeks out fro PCT

Sure, i understand that and i dont have any bloodwork from 2 years ago to compare to but it has been 8 months since my last cycle and i feel i should be pretty much back to normal by now. And i do feel as i did before i ever did a cycle in the first place. I think 8 months after my last cycle should give me a pretty accurate result as to where my test levels are.

Is 400 a number in which i should see a doctor along with me feeling like crap alot of the time.

pokerking, my numbers are similar to yours and I too feel tired all the time. I'm planning to run my first cycle in about a month and see if it makes a difference with my fatigue issues, and if so then I'll explore HRT.

In your case, you've already run a couple cycles of test, so what I think it comes down to is: did you feel that your low T symptoms improved significantly while on? (If not, were you using an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) during your cycle? It is said that high estrogen can have symptoms much like those of low test.)

If you did notice significant improvement, then IMO it is worth talking to your doctor about HRT. That doesn't necessarily entail testosterone replacement; other things you might explore could include Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), SERMs, and restart protocols. However, from what I've read it is difficult enough to find a knowledgeable Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) doc, let alone one who knows about these therapies.

Also, with a test level of 407 it may take some effort to find a doctor willing to prescribe you Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), but eventually I think you could find someone.

Last thing, you might want to look into sleep apnea as the cause of your tiredness.

Oh yes, when i was taking test e at 500mg/wk i felt great. It was the best ive probably ever felt. I felt like a normal person and not depressed like normally

I just feel like i am stuck as to where to go from here. I would like to run another cycle, but dont think its a bright idea before going to see a doctor. I feel like they arent going to do anything though because it is still within the range.

One thing I forgot to add in my original post is that I would NOT tell the doctor about your use.

If you want to pursue Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) then the way I see it, you have 3 options:

1. Try to convince your doctor/endocrinologist to prescribe you HRT. Since you're young and your level is within range, I think you'll really have to play up the low T sides if you want to make this work. FYI, I've heard that "my dick doesn't work" is a good way to convince the doctor. Also, and this is speculation on my part, I think it would help to do some research on your own into alternative therapies and present them to your doctor/endo. My thought is that this will show the doctor that your goal is to fix your symptoms, not score some test.

2. Go to an Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) clinic, e.g. Maximus HRT. From what I've heard, clinics are much more willing to treat guys whose levels are low but still in range.

3. Self-medicate.

IMO your blood work looks perfectly fine. What's the issue? There is no reason to consider TRT. I know very very few guys who are ever in the upper range naturally but I know a couple over. It really doesn't matter where you fall. What matters is how you feel. If you have low t for you, libido will be weak and so will a lot of other things.

I've always got pretty accurate readings two weeks out of pct. I've tested2,4,6 out and sometimes there's a little increase farther out but sometimes it drops a little.

Lots of variables but your numbers look fine to me.
