Yesterday i had a pretty heavy day at work . Came home and was pretty damn exhausted and still went to the gym and hit a pretty heavy back day . This morning i wake up several times with both my arms from mainly elbow down with that asleep tingling burning feeling . Like they both had no circulation . I stand up and can feel the blood go back into them and tingling is gone . Any clue what this is guys ? pretty sure its not carpel tunnel as it seems to always and only happen to me when im excessively tired and exhausted and still push out work . other then that it doesnt happen

Ive woke up with my arm dead from shoulder down..felt like it was detached...lmao. It was from sleeping on stomach with arm under pillow...weird feeling for sure.

Yes schredder , only when i go to sleep . ill wake up from sleep with that feeling . lasts about 1-2 days sometimes . however i do very very lightly have the feeling in my arms right now in certain positions when im awake . but very mildly .

Sounds like you pinched a nerve between your shoulder blades. I had that happen several times whilst doing shrugs. I had a pain in the center of my upper back followed by the numbness/tingling you speak of in both hands.

Strong anti inflammatory and muscle relaxers fixed me up in a few days.

Well, it could be a pinched nerve like Joz stated if its lasting that long, the other thing that it could be is, obviously, is poor circulation. Do you sleep with your hands and arms under the pillow and/or under your head at night?

jozifp103 , funny u mention that cause i did shrugs the night before it happened . This seems to happen to me as i stated when im realy realy tired and pushing myself proabably when it would have been better to take the day off . pinched nerve you think huh ? its in both arms , dont think it has to do with how i sleep . this has happened before in similar conditions

I find that I start getting tingles and such when my hemocrit levels are high. It is my first sign - if I ignore it I end up with Bounding Pulse, which really creeps out my wife.

Cyber ur feeding the fuel of panic...woooops.. so sorry DW, I had u confused with Barbie Bloody Q. We ve been over run with OMG S "I m bleeding and can t find a tampon to fit lately."
When I sleep on a limb it s usually as useful as a paperweight until I get to moving about...

Did I tell u I was also the Grinch, the asshole and the grumpy old man of ology or did u figger that one there out all on your own ? Lol.

Merry X mas. !!!!

Beeeoiitch.

That's my guess brotha. If you pinched the main nerve running up your spine, it can affect all the nerves that branch off of it. It should eventually free itself. Muscle relaxers and anti inflammatories help speed up the process.

The way you sleep can certainly make a difference as well. If you can afford a decent inversion table...I'd recommend it. I've been using one on and off for about 3 years now and whenever I get back pain, or nerve issues. A few days of hanging can really help relieve the pressure.

Teutonic , great to see u in the spirit haha ! ;) and and jozifp103, thanks for the help man , good idea with the inversion table , if i can im going to look into that !

It's a great investment. It really decompresses your spine and can help release nerves that are trapped or pinched. Just make sure you empty your pockets first or you'll end up taking a cell phone and some change to the face lol.

As an old man whose been having his ass kicked and spine compressed by gravity for ever...I highly recommend it. I had s1 coming off l3 or 4 5 totally go away using my gf s table.

( It s an awesome sport fucking device if ur as perverted as I am but I d make sure ur victim sign s a release first.)

I had the same issue not to long ago. Started with left arm then went to both arms. I had me wife's ortho doc take a look because it sucks having dead arms in the morning. It was simply over working the delts and traps and wasn't a pinched nerve, just aggravated he said. I trust this doc as he is a old school bb and still competes and helps me with my usage. So after his assessment, we simply trained around the problem and no longer have an issue. I'm glad that's all it was, because I thought it to be from pinning in my delts.

cool doc s are priceless Fist. My gp begrudgingly keep s 2 files...1 for BC/BS one in case I go critical. He knows but
"does not know"...as he love s my Fed Ins. card lol

Ok so this is very common for large arms. It is 2 things boring together High blood pressure due to water retention and weight of arms. End result carpel tunnel syndrome and blood pressure problems.

SO your body it telling you it has hit the size it wants to carry. Potassium will help to lower water retention and an AI should be taken every day and Blood pressure should be monitored and you should drop water and weight or get it figured out. This is a constant. If you get even bigger or you bloat more it will just happen in the middle of the day.
