Hi i am currently training, 2 gain mass i train :-

Mondays Chest/ Shoulders

Wed Back/ Biceps

Fri - Triceps/ legs

I am currently considering tho putting around 10/15 mins punch bag training in on a saturday morning, the thing is my triceps are usually sore after fridays session, so do u think boxing on a sat mornining will have a negative effect, any help much appreciated Neil.
 
Boxing is great cardio, but if you are sore you may want to switch days. I am bulking and I try to hit the heavy bag at least once a week.

Im guessing you cant fit triceps in on chest shoulder day or just like to hit them twice a week. I dont think bag work would overtrain them, I think of it as like training legs and then jogging next day. You will know if its getting too much.
 
i am in the same boat.

I am an ecto (i am the heaviest i have ever been right now and dont want to loose wegiht ) and i lift weights heavy 4 times a week.

now i am going to start brazillian jujistsu 3 times a week.


i am goint to have to adjust my workout with the weights change around the days mabey just to make sure i dont overtrain.



Any advice out there for me ?
