Brrrrros, why does it burn like dat?

Twice this has happened. I swabbed my glute with alcohol, penetrated with needle and it burns the whole way in. Aspirated with no problem but it was just to uncomfortable to inject. I swabbed the same glute with alcohol 1 inch away from first site, penetrated with new needle and everything was normal. Was this a tender patch of flesh or what? Why it do dat? Everyone is different?

it depends , sometimes I get this when injecting quads . Can be that you are going close too nerves or through a vein . Sometimes itll bleed when u inject , other it doesn't . Depends I guess on the spot and what is under there and u are going through .

I wipe the vial tops and my injection site before I draw. Gives them time to dry, keeping that alcohol from getting pushed in with the needle.

I dont wait very long after swabbing due to paranoia of infection. Guess I need to chill and wait it out
