Bulk Diet (Carb Cycle) to bulk

Hi guys,

Just wanted to run my new bulking diet by everyone and see what you think, not looking for advice just want opinions to see if it looks ok or not.

Stats - 32, 6"2, 87-88Kgs, 16%BF tested. I know it's a bit high but I wanted to build up to 97-100kg then strip fat to 92-93kg. going to bulk for 3-5 months then cut for 3. I previously did a carb cycle to go from 95kg down to 85kg and was very happy with the results but did not have a good base to strip down from, hence the bulk.

Diet - Carb Cycle, eating heaps of carbs on training days (4 days PW)

Macros

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday - training days

- 3787 Cals, 488C, 290P, 66F

Wednesday, Friday, Sunday

- 2451 Cals, 52C, 324P, 97F

What does everyone think?

My opinion of it would ask: why are you eating under maintenance energy needs for Mon, Fri, Sun (under maintenance for almost half the week) on a bulk? And why a 1300calorie difference between high carb and low carb days on a bulk?

Exactly...your caloric intake should remain constant when carb cycling. Most info I've read will tell you that's too many carb days. There's nothing wrong with training on days that you're not carb loading.

i would also like to add that this is not a true carb cycle.. and have to agree with dre... your calories need to be consistent except for the days you have no activity.. then they can go down a little..

you are better off doing something like this

400, 300, 200, 300, 200, 100, 50
