Exactly my point - take the best care of yourself while you can and suck it up when you have to - maybe my sarcasm wasn't obvious enough.
Resign yourself to losing weight when you enlist. You won't be given enough to eat compared with how much you'll be doing. For me, it's a part of life to have my weight fluctuate. I spend a lot of time to get big, then get shipped off to some 3rd world hole where I lose 15-20 pounds, then come back and start getting big again. I suppose you could pick an MOS where you never go anywhere or do anything, but what's the point in that?
