Bulking

I've just started bulking up. I've up'd my food intake and have been at it for about two weeks. I've actually been giving the 5x5 method a shot and so far I've already seen some great results. How long should you bulk up for without gaining too much in the fat area?

It depends on what you see in the mirror.... if you start to pack on a considerable amount of fat, cease bulking.

How come you didn't tell me this over the winter, lol. I personally can't bulk like most guys on here do, if i dont' watch what i am eating i am going to blow up like a balloon. Allowing yourself enought calories to put on mass, and gorging yourself with mcdonalds are different, and i think people, including myself tend to forget that sometimes.

I've been bulking for 7 months now, I have about 1 more month to go and then its time to cut. My results have been spectacular and my bodyfat is not all that high although it is higher than when I started.

if you got you diet dialed in right you can add mass and lose BF or maintain an even level. husky sounds like he has come close it. i have been leaning out for several months. prolly a year and have weighed 300 or so whole time. i am noticably bigger and leaner. I am not rushing it. i have all the time i need. eventually i wanna be well below 10% and still weigh 300ish. if it takes me another year or two thats fine. consistancy and patiece will always yield results.

slow and steady this has been the best bulking I have every experienced. I am starting to get ready to cut, because although I have kept my bodyfat fairly low I am starting to look and feel like an overinflated balloon.

Im always in bulk mode. I want to get bigger. I just bulk all the time. If I feel flabby its the diet not the training and aas. I want to get stronger and bigger. The yo-yo effect of trying to bulk then cut is kinda wierd for me. I still feelso maybe I dont know shit from shit, but I Im bulkin right now.....

I don't believe in the yo yo effect either that's why I have continued to bulk for so long. I tend to be more active in the summer so I use this time to get a bit more lean. By september its time to start putting on the mass. I want to see how heavy I can get and still remain under 12%.
