calfs blasting routines!!

It's genetics, man...some people got great calves, others don't...

Play around with different things...higher weight or higher reps...I would do 3 sets of 15-20 reps standing and seated calf raises and they would always grow...hell, my calves are the one part of me that will not get leaner...

2-4 sets standing smith mach calf raises in the 15-20 rep range
or
seated db toe raises with the db on my thighs and toes on a plate 2-4 sets in the 15-20 rep range

change it from time to time but ussually that set and rep range

fuckin eat...that is the answer the 99% of the questions asked here.

or just read flex and follow ronnie coleman or jay cutlers magic 25 set routine...it will shock your muscles into growing, feel the pump.

if your calves arent growing, its not your routine thats the problem

Its most likely
1. diet
2. genetics

If your squatting and deadlifting, then all you can do is eat more food and give them time.

you can do every magic routine for any bodypart, and if you dont have amazing genetics, then nothing will happen without enough food, thats all there is to it.

I recommend 1 heavy set of calf raises at about 12 reps with a slow negative, and a long stretch (about 1 minute) afterwards.

i have bad genetics i know and calf muscles are so fuckin small with a high insertion point ,very high indeed and i dont want them to get huge or something cause i know that its nearly impossible ,,just want them to gain some size to look good when in shorts not just skinny chicken legs thats all, besides they dont get sore eventhough i am working them everyday ,,just started doing that since 2 days and we will see how will it work, peace

how long have u doing this ,,,and did u notice any even if a slight growth in them?

just 3 weeks now for 10 or more sets. No growth, a little strenght, and damn sore all the time :shoot2:

I had problems with my calves too. Before 2-3 moths I finally figured out how to shock them and make them grow. I think I achieved that by combining low and high reps in a single workout.

3sets of calf raising on leg press twice a week. Simple, but here is a catch.

First part of set: Pick weight on leg press so you could do 8 reps max (calf raising) WITH ONE LEG. Without rest do another 8reps with the other leg.
Second part of set: Again without rest, do about 20reps WITH BOTH LEGS. And so 3 sets. Rest about 90seconds between sets. Do this twice a week.

Hint: KEEP YOUR FEETS HIGH ON LEG PRESS, NOT JUST YOUR TOES!!!

I hope this will work for you.
