Calves: my worst part by far

I have horrible calves. Genetically, they are very high and the muscle body has poor shape. However, I can't even seem to get the muscle bigger. My calves are basically shapeless, it's almost disgusting.

HOW the f do I get them bigger?

My forearms used to be in the same position, but they got bigger just by doing my bicep workouts.

first ,,, I'M IN LOVE WITH YOUR AVITAR ! ... HAHAHA ...

next ,,, try really high reps .. the calve muscle is very used to being abused on a daily basis,, therefore needs to be worked very hard to get a response out of it. i have the same problem,, now don't think that your going to get gargantuan results ,,, i have only managed to put 2.25"'s on in just over 2 years ,, that’s about an inch a year.
 
I'm the same.

Chances are your not going to get much growth.

Try throwing in some jump rope. Seems to have helped me a little.
 
i ussually do high reps 18+ with as much wt as possible for me to handle at that rep range...i'm not talking some pansy ass wt i can get easily for 18+ reps either..i'm talking a wt were you have to push it to get to 15 and 18 makes you wanna cry and at 20+ your knee's start shaking and and calves start quivering...i do between 1-2 sets for calves like this...

Calves and forearms are in the same boat. Either ya got em' or ya dont. But you said you forearms have come back from the dead so maybe the calvs can too. I like low reps 8-10 real heavy. Switch it up.

Think about this too. Your calf is bigger than your bicep. most lifters do 6-15 sets/wk for bi's and maybe 3 sets for calvs. what do you do?

Basically stretch the fuck out of them that helps lots.

If you dont have big calves genetically , good luck ...cuase i have "baby calves" lol
 
ahhhh yes ,, i forgot to mention the stretching part .... good catch mister69 ,, this allows the muscle to grow just in case you have a super tight facia aroiund the calve muscle . . .
