It's possible that the AAS/Hormone could be causing a cascade of effects with his WBC's/and lymphatic system..
He needs to get bloods, as I would be interested in seeing where his WBCs are at..Does he have any bloods from prior months/years to compare ranges to?
I stress this because no many people truly understand or know how many WBC's we posses and what their primary functions really are.. I stress this because exogenous hormones (especially testosterone and other AAS/testosterone derivatives) can play a role with increasing WBC levels in users..Keep in mind that there is multiple WBC types with different functions, and it doesn't always indicate something infectious, in most cases there's a complex interplay, cascade of events taking place with your WBC's..At any given time your WBC's can spring into action without needing or determining/confirmation of what something is, long as it's foreign substance they can spring into action, some of these WBC's are found found in the "LYMPH SYSTEM", and their instructed job is that of a regulatory function so that the immune system is NOT OVER REACTING, or UNDER REACTING..It's a system precaution..
With this said, this could be lymphatic and just the systems way of taking precautions.. (small sterile abscesses) Nothing major hopfully
So where I'm getting at is, in essence we're all injecting ourselves with carrier oils/and hormones, triggering an immune response on some level,so this could be similar to something anaphlyaxis (but on the mild side), Like an allergen to maybe the carrier, or even acidic residues left over in poor quality raws (raw manufacture cutting corners)..
Also, people have been known to have allergic like effects to some exogenous hormones.. Does he have any allergies? to foods, the carrier could be a food derivative that is be causing complications..
This is all speculation and assuming..
