Can you handle this job C´mon don´t be gay

funny thing is... how do you take a shit up there! I´m not trying to be scientific but I guess you have to wear diapers like astronuts do..

If I were to be convinced to climb to the top...guaranteed i'd have shit my pants many times on the way up..and many more on the way down...

Haven't see that video you are talking about. The thing that just makes me sick about the video is the fact that they climb all the way the hell up the tower to change a freaking burnt out light. Come on man. With the technology we have these days, you think they would have an elevator. Come on.

And yeah they are crazy at some points to not even be using a harness. And I agree with RJ. I couldn't imagine climbing back down that thing. Holy hell.

the kittinger jump, he took a special balloon up to the edge of space and jumps out.

I am looking for the video with the natural sound no music. When he jumps its silent, no air whatsoever. Then after about a minute you hear WHOOOSHHHHHHHHHH as he hits thick atmosphere.

I would be worried about going to high and suffering the re-entry burn up.

YouTube - Kittinger jump at 102,800 feet

EDIT: Here we go the jump with original sound

Ya, he was going like 900mph..than slowed down to a measly 700ish in the thicker air.

F that S!!
I was freaking out the whole time, I almost passed out. My hands are still sweating from watching that craziness.
When he got to the top and was just holding on with one hand and then no hands while he was getting his carabiner ready I said "for the love of god get that thing connected already" and his buddy was getting up there with him.

Why do they need two people?
If one of them falls off the other is there to finish the job?

Working a hundred feet above the ground doing roofing is my limit on heights..

Been watching this new IRT deadliest roads series (based in the Himalayas) that's showing on the history channel of late and have to say it's a job I don't think I'd be doing either.. 1000 foot drop waiting for any vehicles that get too close to the edge..

Nope not for me.
i had the chance to do this job years ago. climbing towers to change a damn light bulb and doing the erection of theses towers.
the pay was upwards of 90 grand a year. f that.

You mean Xe

The U.S. government pays Blackwater $1,222 per day for one Blackwater Protective Security Specialist, which, the Congressional report notes, "amounts to $445,891 per contractor" per year.

they may pay BW that, but DDMs make $550/day.
