Can you stay as lean as you get when on a cycle after you get off?

Lets say you do a Test cycle, and bulk up. Adding the muscle would, theoretically, cause your BF% to go down as well. Well, can you expect to keep the same level of leanness that you got while you cycled, or would you expect your BF% to go up after you are done cycling without any kind of diet change?

Hope that makes sense!

Ur bf% will go up and u will lose muscle if u keep the same diet, if u eat more calories u r still gonna lose some muscle but u r gonna gain even more fat.. The only way to keep leanness is to cut down ur calories a bit and expect to lose some size and weight but u r gonna keep the bf%.. Also dont expect to keep the same pump and vascularity as u had on cycle cuz thats just asking for too much, u cant look as good off as u do on cycle bro :/

I would cut down calories a bit, dont need to do a badass diet lol, just eat a bit less carbs and cleaner and u'll lose like 2-5 pounds and keep leanness, its better than eating the same and keeping weight/size but when u realize u r a lot less lean :/

Dammit! But you will look better than before you cycled? I mean, I don't need to be a lean machine, but I would like to stay somewhere around 13-14% bf when I move to maintaining, and just wanted to see if doing a cycle would help get me a head start on that.

Also, I guess what I am trying to ask is if I am aiming for a certain lean look, will steroids help me achieve that look long term, or is it better to achieve that leanness naturally and then steroids will help my muscles grow bigger afterwords?

Adding lean muscle mass will increase your ability to burn calories, especially at rest. If you diet and train properly while on cycle as well as off, you should be able to continue losing body fat while continuing to increase lbm.

Where a lot of guys fail is they continue dieting as if they're bulking while off or start a cut too soon after a cycle. As mentioned above, you won't keep everything after your cycle, but if you stick with your goals - you will look better than when you started.

Like anything in life, consistency and dedication are always key.

All right so the best strategy is cycle, eat like a beast, then after your cycle is done wait until your body is stable, then cut to where you want.

Thanks guys!

Exactly. If done correctly, you can keep most of the muscle from a cycle and once your body is stable, SLOWLY cut down to your desired weight.
