Cant stomache flax seed oil....easier way to take?

I am mixing it in with my post workout shakes right now and i gag every time i take a drink....is there any better way to take this stuff?
 
You shouldnt be taking flax inyour post workout shake for disruption of absorbtion reason. Putting flax in whey post workout is a bit counter-productive.

I dont mind the taste at all, I usually drink it straight from the container. What brand are you using? Brand like Barleans and Udo's have very good tastes, like a nutty taste to it thats very good.

you need high glycemic carbs after a workout not fat..

save the flax seed and protein shake for bedtime..

barlaens is the best ..very nutty..
 
I drink it straight from the bottle. One or two big swigs and then I chase it with Diet Coke, Orange juice, etc... It's not that bad - come on! Be tough! lol

I dunno about nutty...unless its a rotten nut....ill try a tblspn at bedtime straight...oh dear god help me!
 
Yes, flax in your post workout is a big no-no. This is what I do everynight before bedtime. Blend together 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 cup 2% milk, 1/2 cup of cooked oats, 1 tbspn of flax oil and toss in some cinnamon to flavor. Give it a shot. Sometimes it just takes a little getting used to.
 
The taste in a shake doesn't bother me either. I usually get mine from the proteinfactory.com. They also have flax in powder form. Either way, it doesn't seem to noticeably alter the taste of the shake.
 
I think your probably putting in too much if your gagging, I find it walnutty, although the aftertaste of that or olive oil is not my favorite. I down my protein shakes with no breathing between, just down it.

Flax in powder form chokes up the shake like a mofo, very weird.
