cardio and calories

Not sure this is the right board so apologises in advance

I am just starting to cut, 220lbs and 14 bodyfat, was eating 4200calories, now looking at eating 2700-2800 calories for my cut, which includes my pwo nutrition, when doing cardio do I eat the calories I burn or am I eating 2800 calories and doing cardio?

If that makes sense??
 
Cardio is very important to burn the extra calories that we take during thy day. I bodybuilding for getting muscle calories burning is very important.
