Cardio or Diet for 6 pack abs

Tough Titty

Novice
My feeling is to diet while on a cycle of 600mg Deca/100winny per wk
to get to those 6 packs and get rid of my keg.
Cardio will cut my growth and energy also i don't have enough time in the day to do the cardio.
I think (not sure) that a body can be in the state of building muscle
while losing the fat with diet and some gear. But too much can tip you over into the state of
catabolism....i thinks i have enough experience in training (30yrs+)
to know if i'm overdoing it.
I never had a six pack and will die for one now.

:)
your opinions, experiences... please
thanks

I'm 17, and have had well sculpted abs since I was late 14's...early 15's. I simply just wanted them really bad, so I did several abdominal workouts a week, and I ate healthy. I didn't go into an extreme diet...I just ate tuna a lot, and chicken, and stayed away from fats and oils as much as possible.

but I didn't have a big stomach, I just didn't have abs. For a bigger person I would say dieting would be a HUGE part, but you still need to do some exercises.

Diet, cardio is a nice assistance but NEVER something to rely on IMO.

Hardcore cardio sheds LBM, and wussy cardio (fat burning) doesn't do much in the way of caloric expenditure.

I think its a given that diet is a must for abs. Unless you got some freaky fast metabolism or a major thyroid problem, I don't think there would be too many dudes walking around with chiselled abs that live on a crap diet.

for me though, I always need to do the cardio. i am just not disciplined enough to get my bf that low on diet alone. And to be honest i feel a lot better if I am doing regular cardio anyway

If you have had abs since you were 14 I dont think it makes a difference what you do, you are gonna have good abs

Good abs since you were 14, and now your 17... Its not really that difficult to acheive.... If you cant have a good body at 17 you really have a problem....

However 30 years of trainning is a different story...

For me would I go with a very very low carb intake.. and go for a cutting / low water retention steroid... Obviously cardio plays an important part but I find that I loose upper body mass if I do too much cardio.. At present I run 2 miles every other day and eat light on carbs and have a pretty good 4 pack. to get the six I really have to go hardcore. I would say 2 miles a day pluss very low carbs.. But for me this has to be a cycle, since I cant hold my size and keep the 6 pack...

Its more about reducing your body fat than training hard on abs , they are there, its just a matter of getting them to show!!

Hope this helps...
