Cardio question.

Go ahead and move this to the training forum but I would like everyone to see it first.

I have not done much cardio in the past 2 years, currently just weight training. I am going to be starting cardio soon. My question is.........

Is it a sure thing that I will definitly lose some strength in weight training? I really hate getting weaker, its the worst feeling, but I am definitly starting cardio very soon.

I am currently natural, and staying that way for a long while.

Thanks, GM.

I thought you were on a cycle again?

I was on a month ago, and it lasted 1 week because of anxiety. I worry too much on test, but its a good thing IMO. Last cycle I did was 2 years ago when I was 20, not much anxiety in my first cycle, but post cycle I was going crazy for nothing. I went for every test there was because I was so worried.

the best thing you can add into your routine is cardio 2 to 3 times per week. you MUST keep your heart in check. All the muscle in the world will be a waste if its not conditioned. Ask some of the bros on here, I'm sure they know what im talking about, you know, just coming off a big bulker, added 20 pounds, but for some reason, the good broly is mysteriously fatigued all day long, feeling lethargic and graugy, its horrible. Do yourself a favor and add the cardio and if you want to add weight just keep your calories high. Later

Im definitly starting cardio, but if im gonna lose strength, I want to know ahead of time. Thanks your you reply bro, good point!

You may lose i tiny amount of strength but it will be very little.Depends some on what your diet is going to look like too.

keep your protein higher than average plus be adding your good fats in their if your not already doing so. flax is a plus , olive oil, then any other from dietary foods, but make an effort to go the extra mile and this will help you maintain your strength during the transition. I would start the cardio before making anychanges to carb ratios. Good luck my friend, I see you said that your 225 or something like that, you a big mofo, i just broke 200 recently and busting my ass to make sure it stays. later

Bro I was doing cardio six days a week and got down to 255 here before I started my cycle and I actually got fucking stronger somehow. All of this with a fucked up hormonal system so I would say that it would only help. I also take Udos choice, best stuff out in my opinion.

Sweet. Thanks man.;) Were you natural when you were doing cardio?

You probably got stronger because of the physiological responses your body hard to your cardio. You increrase your body's maximum oxygen uptake by doing cardio. This therefore increase the amount of blood and oxygen delivery to your body. You will also be able to work out more intensely with shorter recovery times between sets.

You can probably lose 10lbs without cardio, i lost 50 last year without it, especially if you are active. Now to get to that next stage of leaness, cardio will make it much easier, IMO.
