I'm not sure if this would be the appropriate forum for this question, but you guys seem to be pretty knowledgeable about blood test results. I got my results back and had pretty low estradiol, sensitive levels. Mine was at 6 on a scale of 3-70. For a little background info my test serum was 321 on a scale 249-836 and test free 15.66 on a scale of 5-21 at age 29 (got tests done for curiousity/base pre any sort of cycle or trt). The estradiol number really stood out to me and through the limited research I've come across most guys seem to fall in the upper 20's to low 30's....is that right? Seems like most focus on test levels and not est.....any typical reasons/benefits/negatives to this? or links to info on it.

thanks guys.

You probably are feeling moody, lethargic, lack of ability to concentrate, have joint pain and no libido just judging from your low estradiol.. I'm no expert, I just say that from experience w/ having low estrogen levels before TRT..
As far as your test levels go I will be curious as to what the more knowledgeable guys say about that... It's strange how your TT is low range and you Free T is upper range.. From what I remember reading, Free T is usually about 2% of Total T.. Yours is like 5% of total T.. I hope Chip or someone else will jump in on this.. I'm curious as to what they think?

I've seen guys with very low levels and very high levels. Take me for instance. My E2 level was 62pg/dL (range: 20-54). In your case, I wouldn't worry about your low levels because estradiol derives from testosterone. If you have low levels of testosterone that means less is able to convert into estradiol. That's why when guys inject high levels of testosterone, their estradiol numbers soar. So lots of T = lots of E. Little T = little E.

Then there is guys like me who are overweight. When you're overweight your E2 levels are increased because the adipocyte cells contain lots of aromatase.
